HOWPOT: Reviews & Ratings
If you’re looking for the best all-you-can-eat hot pot and BBQ in Seattle, this place is a must-try. Guests can enjoy both hot pot and Korean BBQ, along with drinks, ice cream, shrimp, and authentic Taiwanese rice. The quality is excellent, and the value is unbeatable at $29.XX for lunch and $39.XX for dinner. Truly one of the top AYCE hot pot and BBQ restaurants in Seattle.
A solid place for some hot pot and bbq. Each individual gets their own pot and little grill. This was great as we wanted to grill some meats as well have hot pot. They do have a good selection of food to choose from. They have a sauce station where you can make your own dipping sauce. They also have a beverage area (pick your own soda or ice tea) as well as a fruit station and ice cream (drumsticks) that you can get. The service was friendly and attentive. It was a good experience and the value was worth it.
I recently visited HowPot, a personal hot pot and grill restaurant, and had a great experience from start to finish. The lunch price was $29.95 (even on weekends, when it was only slightly higher at $32.95), which I found very reasonable for what they offer. The food was delicious, fresh, and came out surprisingly quickly. I really liked that each person gets their own pot and grill setup, making it easy to cook everything exactly the way you want. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and efficient. They also offer free drinks, a free sauce bar, and even fresh fruit, which made the meal feel like an even better value. Overall, HowPot is a great spot if you’re looking for good food, fast service, and a fun personal hot pot experience. I’d definitely go back!
Update! Overall Rating: 5/5. We came back a 2nd time and had good diners around us. We are already planning our 3rd visit! We were excited to learn this was a combo KBBQ and Hot Pot experience. So we had to go! Price points definitely worth it, about 40 per person for all you can eat for 90 minutes. And boy they bring food out quick, you order everything from a tablet and can just keep ordering. We tried all the meat and seafood options, all were tasty, the sauce bar was fun good choices for mixing your own sauce. They also have self serve drinks, dessert, and rice / braised pork! We left very full. After 5pm they have free parking across the street so that's a plus for downtown Seattle. Our only cons were: the food tables are close together. We unfortunately got sat next to 4 college girls and could hear all their conversations the entire meal, so that's a bit of a downside, but it gave us time to focus on our food. I wouldn't recommend this as an intimate dining experience, but if you just wanna eat till you roll out of there this is the spot! The owner was very nice and gave us a coupon for our next visit. We will definitely return.
I've been to HOWPot eight or nine times and I'd recommend them on every metric now that they've worked out the initial opening kinks. But for the TL;DR: Cleanliness: A Decor: B Food Quality: A- Service: A+ Price (for now): A First up, the all you can eat experience overall is great. Personal hot pots and personal grills are awesome and mean those with food allergies can cook up their own food as they like. Service is truly excellent. The staff spots all your needs and is happy to grab whatever you need, change your grill paper, answer questions, and is constantly cleaning up dishes. The sauce bar and the drink fridge were well stocked. And the dessert options were delicious. The only thing my friends and I don't like is just how loud the K-Pop plays. The table fans are loud, and the sound system for the TV's are loud, making it hard to have a nice conversation over lunch or dinner. But overall, I like it! I've been numerous times, and will return for more. For now, the price is really reasonable and I like nearly everything about this tasty restaurant.
Great concept restaurant, very hospitable staff in a huge general portions! If you love hot pot and barbecue, this is the perfect spot for you. Their sides are fresh and come in. They will offer you complimentary drinks and complimentary treats.Prior to ordering your food! Nice clean restaurant! Great coupon incentive to return, we certainly planned on it!
BEST OF BOTH WORLDS. You get delicious authentic hot pot plus a side of KBBQ. We chose the all-you-can-eat for about $30 a person. The meat was fresh and they had incredible quality cuts. All you can eat hot pot, bbq, plus sauce, drinks, and ice cream. Service was also great - they checked on us often and keep the restaurant very clean.
Service was amazing we got seated very quickly and they were always ready to assist. We ordered a lot of dishes and it all came out really fast. It was very chill inside not too chaotic and I enjoyed the music playing. Food overall was great as well, the broth i had wasn't my favorite but I'm hoping to try a different one next time! With gratuity and tip it ended up being about $52 for 5 people.
